Unlike traditional recorders, Rolling Sampler only keeps the last user configurable amount of seconds/minutes of audio inside memory (RAM), and only creates audio files when a selection is dragged out of the plugin.

This means that it has constant memory usage, and can be inserted anywhere and run forever without blowing up your drive space or memory usage.

This makes it a great companion for quickly capturing sound design sessions, retrospectively recording audio in case you forget to hit record, quicky resampling audio over and over for certain music genres, and for many other applications.
